Quiz time: What am I taking a picture of here? Is it the Coke machine? The dressing room entrance? How about that trash can in the foreground.

Actually, none of the above.

Centered in the picture along the red fence is an employee passage to the back area of the park. If you’ve been to theme parks enough, you may have observed these in quiet corners before. What’s interesting about the old SeaWorld of Ohio park is that there were really only two of these. One is near the front (don’t worry, I have a picture) and this one. Employees would pass through security, walk along the back of the shops, and emerge here. Easily two-thirds of employees went to work through this doorway every day. I passed through it myself a few hundred times. So now you know.
