This Google Maps view above shows the Wildwater Kingdom and former SeaWorld of Ohio site in Aurora on the south side of Lake Geauga in 2016. The whole area has been designated for redevelopment. The area has a difficult ownership history, partly because most of the lake itself is in Bainbridge Township, which is in a separate county. The closing of Wildwater Kingdom means that the community lacks an entertainment venue for the first time since the 1800s. What you see pictured is less than a third of the total acreage available on the massive site.
