SeaWorld Ohio opened in 1970. Here’s a map from the third year, 1972.
From what I can tell, this map was just an 8 1/2 by 11″ sheet of paper they handed out at the gate. The first thing to notice is how much smaller the park was. The parking area on the bottom right was inside the park just a few years later. Things missing from the map include the Nautilus Theater, plus shops and restaurants built on top of the parking area that you see here.
Other things that would later disappear include the Japanese Deer Park, where the Penguin Encounter would be constructed. Also the Dancing Water display and Alligator Display. Alligators? In Ohio? I can’t imagine they liked it very much, even in the summer. The World of the Sea Triquarium would replace them.
